Ringing in the New Year

Being a family of great home routine and limited 'couple-social' activity, it was no surprise that New Years Eve came with no plans outside our home or with others.

While staying at home and being 'just the four of us ringing in the new year' would be pleasant, I couldn't shake the societal push to be with others on such a traditional night of celebration.

So, at the last minute, a simple phone call revealed that our dear friends (the ones we rang in 2007 with) were in the same 'lack of party plan' boat as we...so we rowed our boat to their dock and celebrating we did and a New Years Eve tradition has begun!
